The NIH National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) awards Administrative Supplement opportunities to develop collaborations between investigators, purchase equipment, address critical issues of women’s health, and surveillance studies of SARS-CoV-2 viral strains. Since 2019 the Alaska INBRE program has received all seven submitted Administrative Supplements totaling $2,028,441. Â
Awardees in 2019 and 2020 were Jennifer Shaw, Jaedon Avey, Matthew Wooller, Sara Buckingham, and Holly Martinson for a total of $568,607.
In the current award year, a total of $1,459,834 has been awarded to Patrick Tomco, Jack Chen, Devin Drown, Eric Bortz, Lauren Lessard, Katie Cueva, and Jennifer Schmidt.
