Community Based Participatory Research Core
INBRE CBPR Core Goal:
Promote equitable, inclusive, and sustainable research that positively impacts Alaska and the nation by providing Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR, Also known as Community Engaged Research) training and mentoring to participants in the INBRE and RAIN networks, as well as to students and community-based stakeholders.
Specific Aim 1. Provide training in CBPR principles and best practices for engaging diverse community members in research in Alaska
Specific Aim 2. Support the implementation of CBPR in Alaska.
Specific Aim 3. Train community stakeholders to better understand research and engage with researchers on community priorities
