Graduate – Undergraduate Research Pair
The Alaska IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) is supported by a grant from the National Institutes of Health. The primary objective of the Alaska INBRE Undergraduate Research Assistantship (URA) Scholar initiative is to support undergraduate students engaged in biomedical and health science research with mentorship from researchers across the AK INBRE network. The application for URA Summer Scholar support includes a brief description of the proposed research that has been developed with the support of a mentor. Students funded through this program will gain valuable experience in designing, conducting, and presenting research. This URA opportunity is for students enrolled at UAS, UAA, or UAF. Preference will be given to Alaska Native students and students from other underrepresented groups as defined by NIH.
