Graduate Student Travel & Training

The Alaska INBRE Graduate Student Travel & Training Award provides funding to support graduate students participating in professional conferences, workshops, or specialized training activities related to One Health research. This opportunity supports both virtual and in-person activities that enhance research skills, technical expertise, and career development in biomedical and health-related fields.

Eligibility

An eligible applicant must:

  • be a graduate student (Masters or Ph.D.) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 enrolled at a UA campus when the application is submitted and OR a newly matriculated graduate student AND enrolled when travel occurs.
  • be presenting a poster or talk at a professional meeting or receiving technical training in the field of study, and have submitted an INBRE trip report for any previous INBRE-sponsored travel.
