Alaska INBRE Network-wide Annual Research Conference

April 17–19, 2026 | Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge | Talkeetna, Alaska

The Alaska INBRE Network-wide Annual Research Conference is a weekend, in-state celebration of INBRE-funded research and the partnerships that strengthen our statewide research network. This annual gathering brings together faculty, researchers, staff, and students for collaboration, professional development, and scientific exchange.

The conference program includes a keynote speaker, poster sessions, networking opportunities, and dedicated programming for students and early-career researchers. The event begins on Friday, April 17, with a welcome reception and dinner at 6pm and concludes at lunch on Sunday, April 19.

A student-focused professional development workshop will be held from 12:00–5:00 pm on Friday, April 17. Workshop topics include Vibe Coding (led by Data Science Core Director Devin Drown) and Mentoring (led by Lori Gildehaus, Director of the UAF Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity Program). Attendance is required for INBRE-funded students per INBRE Terms & Conditions unless an excused absence has been approved.
